Executive order calls for sweeping review of federal gun regulations in ‘protecting 2A rights’

By Benjamin S. Weiss  | Courthouse News President Donald Trump on Friday issued an executive order demanding a whole-of-government review of federal firearms regulations, a move which appeared aimed at papering over gun safety policies inked by the Joe Biden administration. But the Trump White House’s decree went further than simply undoing Biden’s legacy — its broad mandate invites the possibility of an even more expansive relaxation of federal gun rules. The executive order, issued Friday evening and entitled “Protecting Second Amendment Rights,” directs Attorney General Pam Bondi to examine a cornucopia of federal orders, regulations, guidance and international agreements to determine whether there are any “ongoing infringements” of constitutional gun rights. What are President Trump’s priorities? Here’s the list from the White House

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice As the "Golden Era" of America begins under President Donald J. Trump, the first day promised to be a whirlwind. White House altered Biden’s ‘garbage’ transcript despite concerns from stenographers

By Joseph A. Wulfsohn , Jacqui Heinrich  | Fox News The White House altered the transcript of President Biden's controversial "garbage" comment despite the concerns of stenographers, Fox News Digital has confirmed.  In an email viewed by Fox News Digital, a supervisor sounded the alarm on the White House press office's "breach of protocol and spoilation of transcript integrity between the Stenography and Press Offices." "If there is a difference in interpretation, the Press Office may choose to withhold the transcript but cannot edit it independently," the supervisor wrote in the email. White House forbids kids from using ‘religious’ symbols, themes in Easter Egg Contest

By Nick Arama | Red State Joe Biden is fond of talking about being a Catholic, but he seems to have forgotten the meaning of the holy day of Easter.  Perhaps to him, it's just that day when the Easter Bunny has to chase him around to prevent him from getting lost and saying something stupid.  This year, they're holding an Easter egg design contest for the children of National Guard members. The theme is supposed to be celebrating National Guard families. But, guess what is forbidden in the designs? Any religious mention of Easter on the egg.  READ THE FULL STORY AT RED STATE
