Trump Admin reforms ‘unaccompanied alien children’ policy to prevent trafficking

By Neil Munro | Breitbart President Donald Trump’s deputies have reformed the Democrats’ 2008 “Unaccompanied Alien Children” (UAC) program to shrink migrant smuggling by labor traffickers and by illegal migrant parents. “This is another big win,” said the Immigration Accountability Project. “It would mean fewer children handed over to sex or labor traffickers.” But Democrat-affiliated pro-migration groups lament the reforms, which will require government officials to verify the legal or illegal status of people who volunteer to “sponsor” the many youth migrants who are welcomed across the border and housed in government-funded hostels. CIA offers incentives to resign to whole workforce as part of Trump plan

By Ross O'Keefe | Washington Examiner The CIA has reportedly offered the same eight-month incentives to resign that most federal employees have been extended as part of the Trump administration’s attempt to shrink the government. The original order excluded the CIA and other federal agencies. A CIA spokeswoman said the move was part of an effort to “infuse the agency with renewed energy,” the Wall Street Journal reported. The CIA is also freezing hiring for job seekers who have already been given a conditional offer. Some offers could even be rescinded, the outlet said. The Trump administration is purging federal agencies that don’t align with its ideology or aren’t motivated to work under them. Elon Musk’s Department of Government Eff...

FBI agents sue Trump DOJ to block any public identification of employees who worked on Jan. 6 investigations

By Breanne Deppisch | Fox News A group of nine FBI agents filed a lawsuit Tuesday seeking to block the public identification of any FBI employees who worked on the Jan. 6 investigations into the U.S. Capitol riots, in an attempt to head off what they described as potentially retaliatory efforts against personnel involved in the probe. The plaintiffs, who filed the lawsuit anonymously in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, said that any effort to review or discriminate against FBI employees involved in the Jan. 6 investigations would be "unlawful and retaliatory," and a violation of civil service protections under federal law. The lawsuit cited the questionnaire employees were required to fill out detailing their specific role in the Jan. 6 investigation and Mar-a...

U.S. confirms departure from Paris climate deal

By Simon Kent | Breitbart Washington notified the United Nations on Tuesday to confirm it is delivering on a key campaign pledge of President Donald Trump and withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement to put U.S. energy and job growth first. On his first day back in the White House, Trump announced America would leave the accord, which is managed by the U.N. climate change body. “In recent years, the United States has purported to join international agreements and initiatives that do not reflect our country’s values or our contributions to the pursuit of economic and environmental objectives,” Trump’s executive order read. Trump admin orders federal employees in DEI offices to be placed on paid leave as agencies wind down diversity initiatives

By Victor Nava | New York Post The Trump administration on Tuesday ordered all federal employees working on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives to be placed on paid leave as government agencies work to shutter DEI offices.  The Office of Personnel Management, the government’s top human resources agency, informed federal department heads in a memo that DEI program employees must be notified by 5 p.m. Wednesday that their administrative leave is “effective immediately.”  The memo further directs federal agencies to take down all “outward facing media” — such as webpages and social media accounts — focused on DEI programs, cancel all employee diversity trainings and terminate any DEI-related contracts by the same deadline.  READ THE FULL ...

Trump grants sweeping clemency for Jan. 6 political prisoners after Biden pardons family

By Tristan Justice | The Federalist President Donald Trump pardoned nearly every defendant charged with crimes related to the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021 after his predecessor issued pre-emptive pardons for the rest of the Biden family moments before leaving office. The freshly inaugurated president delivered the pardons in one of his first acts upon his triumphant return to the Oval Office. The executive order granted “full, complete, and unconditional pardons” to roughly 1,500 people and commuted the sentences of another 14. The total number of defendants charged is 1,583, according to The Hill. “What they’ve done to these people is outrageous,” Trump said at the White House as he signed a pile of orders across the Resolute Desk READ THE FULL STORY AT THE FEDERALIST...

Trump’s executive order covers an array of actions Biden took throughout his term, ranging from nixing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies to the southern border and the climate. “I can undo almost everything Biden did, he through executive order. And on day one, much of that will be undone,” Trump said in a statement shared in a White House fact sheet obtained by Breitbart News. READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBART

Massive dockworker strike could land in Trump Admin’s lap on day one

By Wallace White | Daily Caller A costly dockworkers’ strike could ignite just days before President-elect Donald Trump takes office, presenting the Republican’s administration with a major domestic challenge on day one. The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA), which represents 47,000 workers, is planning to strike on Jan. 15 after a short three-day strike in October, where the union secured a 62% pay raise over six years from United States Maritime Alliance (USMX). However, negotiations concerning port automation with shipping companies continue to stall, and industry giant Maersk said there have been no new developments, according to Bloomberg Tuesday. “The conditional agreement on wages is set to expire on January 15. If no agreement is reached by that date, a coast-...
