Fabbricatore to be joined Thursday at Aurora rally for border security by U.S. Reps Boebert, Roy

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice When Colorado Gov. Jared Polis termed the alleged gang infiltration of an apartment complex in Aurora "imagination" and his allies alleged it to be right-wing conspiracy, John Fabbricatore acted. He confirmed activity of the violent Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua in Aurora and his X/Twitter account became a tip line. “I am greatly concerned about the uptick in crime, gang presence and flood of fentanyl acrossour borders," Fabbricatore said. "The Biden-Harris administration has allowed floods of unvetted illegal migrants to cross our borders." The former regional director of ICE and the Republican nominee in Colorado's 6th District for the U.S. House will be joined Thursday by U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colorado, and U.S. Rep. Chip ...

Rep. Boebert: ‘It’s now truly MAGA vs. Marxism’ in presidential race

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice The result of Kamala Harris selecting Tim Walz as her running mate is a drifting of the Democratic Party further left, Rep. Lauren Boebert said Tuesday in a series of posts on Twitter/X. "It’s now truly MAGA vs Marxism," she tweeted in one post. "I know what side I’m on!" Boebert defeated a dozen opponents in her 4th District Republican Party primary election for U.S. representative, positioning as the most conservative choice in the final field of six, which she defeated across the board by about 30%. She held the endorsement of Donald J. Trump. She never shied from her conservative positions. She doesn't on Twitter/X, either. "It’s pretty obvious that the Democrat[ic] Party has now fully morphed into the Hamas Party," she wrote. "The pic...

Rep. Boebert: ‘Praying for President Trump’

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice Moments into former President Donald J. Trump's campaign rally in Butler, Penn., Saturday, Mr. Trump was apparently struck by gunfire. He went to the ground behind the podium from where he was speaking, and when he rose Mr. Trump had blood on his face and seeming to come from the top of his ear. U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, one of his strongest allies and who holds Mr. Trump's endorsement for re-election, called it evil on Twitter moments later. "We are praying for President Trump and the nation tonight," Boebert said. In a series of posts on Twitter, she evoked Isaiah 54:17: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper." She called to pray for Mr. Trump and the people of Butler, Penn. "Throughout history, those who hate God and embra...

Independence Day: Some cite Reagan, Trump, but Gardner goes way back to Adams in Twitter greetings

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice While Coloradans were enjoying parades, rodeos and cookouts in celebration Thursday of Independence Day, elected Republican officials past, present and possibly future turned to Twitter. For those not binge-watching Yellowstone re-runs, Twitter was filled with their personal thoughts and quotations, as could be expected, by Presidents Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump, and unexpectedly by novelist William Faulkner. The occasion drew former U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner to get more creative, citing the country's co-drafter of the Declaration of Independence, the first vice president, first occupant of the White House and the country's only Federalist president: John Adams. Gardner encouraged Coloradans and Americans to, as Adams had said in 1776, "Ce...
