RFK Jr. proposes ‘no-spoiler’ pledge with Biden, with loser dropping out

By Mallory Wilson | The Washington Times Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called on President Biden to take a “no-spoiler” pledge with him that, if accepted, would lead to one of the two men dropping out of the presidential race in mid-October. Mr. Kennedy‘s pledge would include a 50-state poll co-funded by Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Biden in mid-October with more than 30,000 likely voters. The survey would test the results of head-to-head matchups between Mr. Biden and former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, and between Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Trump. Both parties would pledge that whoever performs weaker head-to-head against Mr. Trump would then drop out...

New polling finds Biden’s approval rate slumping, disapproval rate growing

By BRIAN PORTER | The Rocky Mountain Voice The State of the Union Address may not have had the result for President Joe Biden that he would have hoped. Emerson polling finds that his job approval rating has continued to slide since the address, and his job disapproval rating has continued to rise. Biden addressed the nation March 8. Polling was conducted April 2-3 of 1,438 registered voters with a margin of error of 2.5%. In January, voters surveyed by Emerson graded the President's approval at 42%, up from a low of 38% in November. That approval of 42% ticked down 1% in March and another 1% in April, Emerson finds. Disapproval of the President's job performance was at its lowest in January, coming in at 46% in Emerson polling. It has ticked up every month since, with 47% disap...

Sloan: Mr. President, “don’t” is not a foreign policy

By Kelly Sloan | Special Contributor, The Rocky Mountain Voice After receiving intelligence reports that Tehran was up to something in response to Israel’s successful strike in Syria that eliminated some top Iranian General’s who were leading Hezbollah units, President Biden publicly told the Iranian’s “Don’t”. Well, they did. And boy did they fail spectacularly. Of the 110 ballistic missiles, 30 cruise missiles and 170 drones that the Iranian military fired at Israel, virtually none survived to reach their targets. Reportedly a couple landed near an airbase, lamentably injuring a 7-year-old girl, but not even causing a pause in the airbase’s operations. Now, there’s a lot to unpack with this episode, including the again-demonstrated vacuousness of the Biden Administration’s ...

Raleigh: Joe Biden’s signature achievement is his list of broken promises

By HELEN RALEIGH | The Federalist President Joe Biden’s Energy Department canceled its plan to purchase millions of barrels of oil to refill the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). The cancellation means the Biden administration is unlikely to fulfill its promise of fully replenishing the SPR by the end of the year, and the SPR will remain at a historically low level after the administration depleted it in 2022.  The depletion of the SPR was caused by the Biden administration’s own failed energy policy. Shortly after he came into office, President Biden issued a series of anti-fossil fuel energy policies, including canceling the Keystone XL Pipeline project and halting leasing on federal lands for oil and gas production. Biden’s energy policies stran...

Bolton says he will write in Dick Cheney for president again this year, over Biden or Trump

BY LAUREN SFORZA | The Hill Former national security adviser John Bolton revealed he will write in former Vice President Dick Cheney for president in November — for the second time. “Well, I might as well say it now. I voted for Dick Cheney,” Bolton told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Wednesday on “The Source,” when asked who he wrote in for president in the 2020 election. “And I’ll vote for Dick Cheney again this November.” Collins noted that Bolton had not previously disclosed the information. Asked why he has thrown his support behind Cheney, Bolton said he believed the former vice president would be better than President Biden and former President Trump. READ THE FIULL STORY AT THE HILL

In Biden’s latest gaffe, President declares he’s living in the wrong century

Jeff Mordock | The Washington Times President Biden on Wednesday struggled through a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, fumbling to find his list of preselected reporters to call on and concluding the event by announcing he’s living in the wrong century. Mr. Biden appeared confused about which reporters to call on during the press conference, struggling to find his list of preselected reporters that his staff decided should be allowed to ask questions. “Who do I call on next? … Hang on a second. … I’ve got my list here. … I apologize,” Mr. Biden said as he struggled to read the list for several seconds before calling on Aurelia End of AFP. Liberal group drops $57 million in eight key states to stop Latino voters abandoning Biden

ByBrady Knox | Washington Examiner A prominent Latino liberal group is spending $57 million to bring out Latino voters for President Joe Biden as his approval continues to fall. Somos Votantes, which runs the Somos PAC, told NBC News that $33 million of the total will be devoted toward mobilizing Latinos in support of Biden and other Democrats in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin. The remainder will be spent on expanding voter education programs. “Latinos are the biggest and fastest growing segment of the electorate with more than 4 million new voters since the last presidential election, so we want to make sure that we are reaching them in every way possible,” Somos Votantes President Melissa Morales told th...

With or without Kennedy, Trump would defeat Biden in 6 of 7 swing states, poll finds

60% disapprove of Biden's job performance, 74% say inflation, border security has worsened By BRIAN PORTER | The Rocky Mountain Voice Donald Trump would win election in six of seven swing states with or without Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., in the field, a Wall Street Journal poll in March of likely voters finds. In a heads-up election between Trump and Joe Biden, the former president has an overall 3% lead over Biden, finds the poll of 600 voters each in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. In the heads-up election, Trump would win all states and tie Biden in Wisconsin. If Kennedy were on the ballot, Trump would defeat Biden by 3% overall and win in each of the states except Wisconsin, where Biden wins by 3%. Trump, a Republican, and Biden...

Sloan: Biden’s betrayal of Israel in war with Hamas

By Kelly Sloan | Special Contributor, The Rocky Mountain Voice Back in October, in the stunned aftermath of the worst collective massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, Presideent Joe Biden told the Israelis and the world that the U.S. would stand by them. He pledged American support, including armaments. It was a good moment, one civilized nation pledging its solidarity with another in the face of barbarity. Five months later, Biden informed the Israelis that they were essentially alone. On March 25, the UN Security Council voted on yet another morally bankrupt resolution calling for a unilateral and unconditional cease fire in the war in Gaza, and this time the United States abstained. In all previous iterations of this and other UN resolutions like it, which stop just short of...

‘I didn’t do that’: Biden responds to criticism for proclaiming Easter Sunday Transgender Visibility Day

By Emel Akan | The Epoch Times WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on April 1 pushed back against criticism of his proclamation on the weekend in support of transgender people, which coincided with Easter. “I didn’t do that,” President Biden said in response to a question from the press about his issuing the proclamation. When asked about House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-La.) criticism of the proclamation, the president replied, “He’s thoroughly uninformed.” READ THE FULL STORY AT THE EPOCH TIMES
