By Ernest Luning | Colorado Politics Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance is scheduled to headline a fundraiser hosted by former U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner in Denver in October, with tickets starting at $3,300 apiece, according to an invitation to the event. Set for Oct. 8 at an undisclosed location, the fundraiser, billed as an evening reception, will be the Ohio senator's first publicly announced visit to Colorado this year. Vance agrees to Oct. 1 debate of VP candidates with Walz on CBS

By Jared Mitovich | Politico Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance agreed to debate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on Oct. 1 on CBS, locking in a match-up between the Republican and Democratic nominees for vice president. On Wednesday, Walz had publicly agreed to the October debate in CBS’s New York City studios. “CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell and “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan will moderate the forum. Vance added that he had agreed to debate Walz on CNN on Sept. 18, writing, “The American people deserve as many debates as possible, which is why President Trump has challenged Kamala to three of them already.” Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump last week committed to a Sept. 10 debate hosted by ABC, but Trump has continued to challenge Harris to join him for...

Who is Harris’ VP candidate Tim Walz? A far Left radical, Trump campaign says

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice Where does the selection of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as vice president place a possible Kamala Harris-Walz presidential administration on the political spectrum? It cements it as a far Left, radical ticket, the most radical in the country's history, several sources in the Donald J. Trump presidential campaign said Tuesday. "From proposing his own carbon-free agenda, to suggesting stricter emission standards for gas-powered cars, and embracing policies to allow convicted felons to vote, Walz is obsessed with spreading California’s dangerously liberal agenda far and wide," Karoline Leavitt, the Trump-Vance campaign press secretary, wrote in a statement. Walz is soft on crime and "loves" China, opposition research by the Republican Party indic...

Kamala Harris ‘a bad vice president’ and ‘a worse president’: J.D. Vance defines his messaging role in race

By Jared Mitovich | Politico J.D. Vance has been trying out different responses to the wave of scrutiny he’s faced since becoming Donald Trump’s running mate. Now, he’s downplaying his own relevance to the election entirely. “My attitude is, it doesn’t really matter, as much as this hits my ego,” Vance said in an interview on the “FULL SEND PODCAST” released Friday. “People are going to vote primarily for Donald Trump or for Kamala Harris. That’s the way these things go. I think my job over the next few months is to just drive home the message that Kamala Harris has been a bad vice president, and she’d be a worse president.” READ THE FULL STORY AT POLITICO

Ohio Sen J.D. Vance will join Trump on Republican ticket as VP

By Paul Steinhauser , Brandon Gillespie | Fox News With an eye toward the future of a Republican Party dominated by former President Trump and his legions of MAGA supporters, Trump has named 39-year-old Sen. JD Vance of Ohio as his running mate on the GOP'S 2024 national ticket. The former president, who made his greatly anticipated and high-stakes announcement on Monday as the Republican National Convention kicked off in swing-state Wisconsin's largest city, will now share the ticket with one of his top supporters in the Senate and a one-time Trump critic who has transformed into a leading America First disciple. Vance, a former venture capitalist and the author of the bestselling memoir, "Hillbilly Elegy," before running for elective office, was one of a handful o...
