Biden dons ‘Trump 2024’ hat during 9/11 Pennsylvania visit

By Emily Hallas | Washington Examiner Some Pennsylvania firefighters’ days took an unexpected turn as they watched President Joe Biden don a ‘Trump 2024″ hat. After laying a wreath at the 9/11 Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville on Wednesday, Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris visited the local fire department. As first responders looked on, Biden grabbed a Trump 2024 hat as he grinned widely.  A White House spokesman explained the president’s surprising act as a “bipartisan” gesture meant to show the country’s “unity” after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City 23 years ago.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER

Aurora mayor responds to Trump’s debate reference: “TdA has not ‘taken over’ the city”

By Lanie Lee Cook | Fox 31 News The candidates had not finished responding to the first question of Tuesday night’s debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump before Colorado was brought into the fold. Harris and Trump were asked whether they thought the economy was in a better position than four years ago. Each candidate touted their policy goals in their response, while Trump also used his time to repeat the anti-immigration rhetoric that has often been the centerpiece of his political messaging. Trump claimed that migrants “pouring” into the country were taking jobs and then mentioned Aurora, where reported gang crime in neglected apartment buildings has made national headlines and where officials have noted a presence of the Venezuelan Tren d...

Brelje: ABC should be prosecuted for illegal contributions to Harris in ‘debate’

By Beth Brelje | The Federalist Former President Donald Trump showed up for a traditional political debate Tuesday night, but he instead found himself in the middle of a 90-minute ambush to boost Kamala Harris. Working as a team, ABC hosts David Muir and Linsey Davis propped up Harris and repeatedly tried to vanquish Trump by talking over him, cutting him off, and asking bizarre questions they did not ask Harris. At one point, Davis jumped in for Harris and offered a rebuttal to one of Trump’s comments on abortion, a move beyond the scope of a moderator. They allowed Harris more time to respond and followed her when she veered off topic, but gave Trump no such breaks. It was not a debate, but a campaign contribution. That’s not a big surprise from either moderator, as Muir hosts t...

Griswald: Debate moderators bringing up J6 but not Trump assassination attempt tells you everything about media corruption

By Kylee Griswald | The Federalist Nobody was surprised Tuesday night when the first — and likely only — 2024 presidential debate featured Donald Trump vs. Kamala Harris, David Muir, and Linsey Davis. Yet the level of corruption never ceases to amaze, this time in the form of Kamala’s ABC cronies neglecting to bring up the recent attempted murder of their political foe that occurred not two months ago. You’d never know that the former and likely future president was shot in the head 59 days ago. And that it was at the hands of a crazed gunman who was allowed to scale the roof of a building near where President Trump was speaking even after bystanders saw him. And that the building was suspiciously left out of the security perimeter even though it was identified as a potential threat....

Tulsi Gabbard, who prepped Trump for debate, ‘dissected’ Harris in 2019 Dem primary debate

By Hanna Panreck | Fox News Tulsi Gabbard revealed on Monday how she went about calling out Vice President Kamala Harris on the debate stage during the Democratic primaries in 2019 during an appearance on "Jesse Watters Primetime."  "She was treated with kid gloves by the mainstream propaganda media. She was treated with kid gloves, even by every other candidate that was on that debate stage. No one questioned her, challenged her, or called her out for the record as prosecutor that she claimed to be proud of," Gabbard said.  The former congresswoman called out Harris in a 2019 primary debate where she hammered the then-Democratic senator for jailing hundreds of Californians for marijuana violations while she was attorney general, yet bragged about her own use of the drug...

The Harris honeymoon is over: new poll delivers warning signals to the Vice President

By Drake Hunter | The Hill A string of recent polls is delivering warning signs for Vice President Harris ahead of Tuesday evening’s critical presidential debate.  A New York Times/Siena College poll released Sunday showed former President Trump holding a 1-point lead nationally, suggesting the Harris honeymoon as the Democratic nominee could be coming to a close. It showed tight races in the seven battleground states, signaling the race for the White House could go in either direction. It also showed that while 90 percent of voters said they knew everything they need to know about Trump, a smaller 71 percent said they know everything they need to know about Harris. Trump expected to use Harris’s own record against her at debate

By Drake Hunter | Washington Examiner Former President Donald Trump is poised to combine his recent attacks against Vice President Kamala Harris‘s policies and personality when they meet during their first and potentially only debate before November’s election. During a Monday phone call with reporters, the Trump campaign previewed the former president’s desire to go after Harris for being part of President Joe Biden‘s administration, for example, for being “the last person in the room” before his deadly 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal. The campaign also foreshadowed criticism of her when she was San Francisco‘s district attorney and California‘s attorney general, as well as the policy positions she adopted during her 2020 bid, which she and her 2024 aide...

The most important stat in a fresh NYT poll showing Trump pulling back ahead nationally

By Guy Benson | Town Hall In case you missed Sarah's post yesterday, a fresh nationwide survey from the New York Times and Siena College shows Donald Trump edging back out into the lead against Kamala Harris -- in both the head-to-head and wider field numbers.  In the days immediately following Joe Biden being forced out of the race by his party, this pollster went into the field and found Trump ahead of Harris by one point among likely voters, 48 percent to 47 percent.  In the intervening month-and-a-half, Harris was lavished with extraordinarily positive 'news' coverage, gaining momentum, and taking the lead.  The press made her the new frontrunner.  Six weeks later,  the hype machine may be running out of steam.  The same pollster went back into the field, just after Labor Day, and p...

Harris finally adds policy page to campaign website, devotes several sections to Trump

By Danielle Wallace | Fox News Vice President Harris finally added policies to her campaign website for the first time since President Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed her in the presidential race 50 days ago. The website breaks Harris and her vice-presidential running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’ policy proposals into four sections: "Build an Opportunity Economy and Lower Costs for Families," "Safeguard Our Fundamental Freedoms," "Ensure Safety and Justice For All," and "Keep America Safe, Secure, and Prosperous."  Before the new addition, Harris' campaign website had pages to buy merchandise, donate and get to know the candidate's background, but was devoid of any policy plans for weeks even after she formally accepted the nomination at the Democratic National...

Top DOJ spokesman calls Trump cases ‘perversion of justice’ on hidden camera

By Olivia Rondeau | Breitbart The chief spokesman for the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Southern District of New York (SDNY) was caught tearing into Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and other prosecutors for carrying out a “perversion of justice” in targeting former President Donald Trump, hidden camera footage captured by an undercover journalist revealed. Nicholas Biase, the public affairs director for the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York (SDNY), spilled his feelings about the liberal DA when speaking to an unidentified operative with podcaster Steven Crowder’s “Mug Club” on multiple occasions.
