The three senior DOJ officials are under investigation for potential Hatch Act violations. Official DOJ policy prohibits its employees from disclosing information about ongoing matters. At least one of the senior officials used official DOJ social media accounts to repost links to the articles after leaking the information to select reporters. The summary of the investigation  stated: "The Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) initiated an ...

An investigation conducted by Parents Defending Education (PDE) found that the Biden DOJ awarded over $100,113,942 through 102 grants, throughout 36 states, impacting 946 school districts and upwards of 3 million K-12 students. Those funds were spent on proposals promoting restorative justice practices, social and emotional learning practices, and diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in the classroom over the past four years, The Daily Wire has learned. The funds were awarded through the Justice Department’s STOP School Violence Program, w...

By Greg Wehner  | Fox News A Chino Hills, California man has been arrested for allegedly working as an illegal agent of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) while also serving as the campaign manager for a local politician who was elected to office in 2022. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said 64-year-old Yaoning "Mike" Sun was arrested on Thursday and charged with acting as an illegal agent of China as well as conspiring with another man, Chen Jun, who was sentenced to prison in November for bribery and also acting as an illegal agent of the Chinese government. Three Russia hoax bombshells hidden in IG report on DOJ surveillance of Congress

By Mollie Hemingway | The Federalist These revelations show why the DOJ needs massive reform in the next administration. Last week the Department of Justice’s inspector general  released a report on some of the DOJ’s tracking of communications from media and congressional figures as part of its purported investigation into who was leaking classified information against President Donald Trump in 2017. Three significant bombshells about the Russia collusion hoax were hidden inside the dense and dry 100-page report. For context, when Trump won the 2016 presidential election, anonymous Democrat operatives in the federal government and Congress began leaking like sieves as part of a coordinated effort to paint Trump as a mastermind spy who had worked with Russian President Vladimir Put...

Fani Willis ordered to give watchdog all communications with special counsel Jack Smith

By Greg Wehner  | Fox News A Georgia judge ordered Fulton County District Attorney Fani Williams to hand over records related to her communications with special counsel Jack Smith and the U.S. House January 6 Committee after failing to comply with a request under the Open Records Act (ORA). The nonprofit group Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against Willis in March after her office claimed it did not have any documents and communications on file between Willis and Smith or Willis and the January 6th Committee. But it turned out her office did have communications, and on Monday, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney ordered Willis to produce them within five business days. McBurney also determined in his ruling that Willis violated Georgia’s open records act b...

Special counsel Jack Smith seeks to dismiss Trump’s January 6 case

By Haley Strack | National Review Biden-Harris Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith filed a motion Monday to dismiss all felony charges against President-elect Donald Trump in relation to the January 6 election-interference case. Trump was accused of interfering in the 2020 election and was indicted in August 2023 on multiple charges, including conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights. On Monday, Smith petitioned U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, who is presiding over the case, to dismiss the case  in accordance with the DOJ’s policy to not prosecute sitting presidents. FBI, DOJ officials with Biden-Harris admin lawyer up in prep for potential prosecutions by incoming AG Matt Gaetz

By Thomas Stevenson | The Post Millennial Current DOJ as well as FBI officials are reaching out to lawyers after President-elect has chosen former Rep. Matt Gaetz for US Attorney General. Some of the most senior officials in the federal justice agencies are preparing for potential prosecution during the upcoming Trump administration. According to NBC News, after Trump's victory over Harris, some long-time and senior-level staff at the DOJ as well as the FBI are nervous that Trump appointments such as Gaetz at the DOJ could go after them legally. The selection of Gaetz has specifically made them nervous about possible cases against them, per the outlet. Some FBI officials were "shell-shocked" by Trump's election win.  Trump has long promised to "drain the swamp...

Davidson: We need to take a wrecking ball to the DOJ. Matt Gaetz is just the man for the job

By John Daniel Davidson, Commentary | The Federalist Gaetz isn’t ‘unqualified’ to lead the Justice Department. As a victim of the DOJ, he might be the best person to reform it. The collective pearl-clutching by the corporate press and Washington establishment on Wednesday after Trump announced he’d chosen Matt Gaetz to be his attorney general was something to behold. The swamp consensus is that the former Florida congressman is “unqualified” to lead the Justice Department. Never mind that the people making this claim are themselves deeply unqualified to hold their own positions of power. (Consider Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who dismissed Gaetz as not a “serious” pick. Murkowski is poster-child for unserious and unqualified Beltway drones. She failed the bar exam f...

Corrupt special counsel Jack Smith to exit DOJ, drop cases

By John Nolte | Breitbart Corrupt Special Counsel Jack Smith, the Keystone Cop who has serially failed to throw Donald Trump in prison or undermine his reelection chances, will not wait for incoming President-elect Trump to fire him (as Trump has understandably promised to do). Instead, since a special counsel cannot prosecute a sitting president, Smith will leave the Department of Justice before Trump is sworn in as the 47th president. The (phony) cases against Trump will also be dropped. Here’s the Fox News report: Since November 2022, Smith has sought to put Trump in prison using four felony accounts that laughably claim Trump conspired to steal the 2020 presidential election.
