Danielle Jurinsky will seek second, four-year term on Aurora City Council

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice Danielle Jurinsky had been an entrepreneur and business owner, military veteran and single mom, and then, four years ago, added policymaker to the list. She announced Tuesday her intention to seek a second, four-year term to an Aurora City Council at-large seat. The City Council includes 11 members in three wards and at-large seats. Election Day is Nov. 4, 2025. More detail is available through the City of Aurora's website. “Coming through the pandemic as a restaurant owner, my business and many others like mine faced government overreach and increasing costs that threatened to shut us down,” Jurinsky said. It inspired her run for City Council in support of other business owners, who were confronted by local and state governments forcing t...

Aurora City Council Member: Leaks Interfered with Immigration Raids

By Hannah Knudsen | Breitbart Leaks have interfered with the work of border czar Tom Homan, Aurora City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily. Jurinsky is the councilwoman who blew the lid off the violent gang activity of Tren de Aragua in her city, despite constant smears against her and denials from officials. But, she was proven to be right, and now, Homan is on the case. While there have been arrests, however, some of the operations have been delayed or thwarted due to leaks, she revealed. “I heard it was over 100 people arrested,” host Mike Slater said. “But then I heard that it was leaked beforehand, and they went, they knocked on some doors, and they were empty.” READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBART

‘Operation Aurora is coming,’ Council member warns Aurora police chief, staff

By Heather Willard | Fox 31 News Aurora Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky spoke out in a November committee meeting to tell the police department, city council and city staff that President-elect Donald Trump’s mass deportation plan is “coming.” Jurinsky made the comments at a meeting of the Aurora City Council Public Safety, Courts and Civil Service Committee on Nov. 14, which she chairs. The committee meets monthly and will not meet again until 2025. Also at the meeting was new Aurora Police Department Chief Todd Chamberlain, who was asked if the police agency needed support and more aid from surrounding agencies, such as the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office or the National Guard. He said that is not needed and would be a demoralizing move for his staff. REASD THE FULL STOR...

‘This was a takeover’: CBZ Management no longer silent on violent TdA activity in Aurora

Jurinsky: 'Police chief leadership and city management lied' By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice A property management company, which has been vilified in Aurora as a slumlord, has begun to speak out through a new social media account. They are providing, in the words of Paul Harvey, the rest of the story. In 2019, CBZ Management was hired to manage Aurora apartment properties by the new owners. The properties were in poor condition and CBZ Management was assigned renovation to increase the rent value, the company's first posting on Oct. 11 reads. "We understood this project would take years to yield results and would be both time-consuming and costly, involving comprehensive upgrades to every unit and the overall structure," the Twitter/X post from @CbzManagement reads. ...

Resolution claims Denver placed illegals in Aurora without notice, would begin investigation

By Kyla Pearce | Denver Gazette A resolution under consideration by the Aurora City Council charges that Denver moved immigrants into Aurora without telling city officials. If approved, the resolution will launch an investigation into the claim. Sponsored by City Councilmember Danielle Jurinsky, the resolution directs the city manager to provide a list of city organizations that have received funding to aid immigrants, including federal and state funding, as well as dollars from the City and County of Denver. Aurora officials will weigh the proposal a few days after former President Donald Trump blasted the Biden administration’s handling of illegal immigration, which he said contributed to the Venezuelan gang problem in Colorado’s third-most populous city. If you don’t know Danielle Jurinsky, you might after Donald Trump’s MAGA rally in Aurora

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice When Danielle Jurinsky returned to civilian life after nine years serving in the Air Force, most of it at Buckley Air Base, and after building multiple businesses employing more than 50 residents, adding to her responsibility may not have been a consideration. But, that's just what she did, running for and being elected as a member of City Council in the town where she was raised. It would almost be unfathomable to consider anyone in Colorado hasn't heard of the Aurora city councilwoman in the past few months. She's been at the forefront of discoveries the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Araqua was active in some areas of the town, and leading in the assistance for some of the most affected residents. In a few days, the nation might also kn...

Aurora mayor responds to Trump’s debate reference: “TdA has not ‘taken over’ the city”

By Lanie Lee Cook | Fox 31 News The candidates had not finished responding to the first question of Tuesday night’s debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump before Colorado was brought into the fold. Harris and Trump were asked whether they thought the economy was in a better position than four years ago. Each candidate touted their policy goals in their response, while Trump also used his time to repeat the anti-immigration rhetoric that has often been the centerpiece of his political messaging. Trump claimed that migrants “pouring” into the country were taking jobs and then mentioned Aurora, where reported gang crime in neglected apartment buildings has made national headlines and where officials have noted a presence of the Venezuelan Tren d...

Retort that Tren de Aragua claims are ‘racially motivated’ is untrue, Fabbricatore says on F&F

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice The retort that claims of the violent Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua's activity in Aurora are just racially motivated accusations is untrue, John Fabbricatore said on Fox & Friends Weekend. "The governor has said it is racially motivated. Congressman Jason Crow has said it is racially motivated," Fabbricatore told the Fox & Friends host. "This is not racially motivated. These are things that are actually happening. People are actually being hurt and they're not doing anything about it. They would rather put it back on us and spin it toward a racial aspect." The former regional ICE director in Colorado has been consistent with his criticism of police leadership. "The police department needs to do something," he told Fox &...

As Aurora police monitor potential protest Saturday, questions persist as to Venezuelan gang’s infiltration of city

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice Aurora police are monitoring whether an "international day of protest" Saturday related to the Venezuelan presidential election might lead to protests in Aurora, they posted this week on Twitter/X. "We want our community to know we are actively monitoring the situation due to recent events in our city," the APD post reads. Aurora police also monitored a large assembly of people on the night of the Venezuelan election, July 28, near Havana Street and Mississippi Avenue, which some detail became lawless. As many commented in response to Aurora police on X, the "recent events" were criticized by some in the media as far-right conspiracy with claims of the events not occurring. One of those involves disagreement on the reason an apartment comp...
