Matthew Livelsberger was on personal leave when he rented a Cybertruck in Colorado and drove to Las Vegas. There, the truck — laden with fireworks and camping fuel — exploded. Investigators say Livelsberger had no animosity toward President-elect Donald Trump, despite blowing the truck up outside one of his hotels. Police say he had post-traumatic stress disorder. Army releases details on Colorado Springs man who died in Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion

By Blake Sammann | KKTV-TV CBS 11 The U.S. Army released more details Thursday on the man who Las Vegas police say died in a Cybertruck explosion outside a Trump hotel Wednesday. According to a U.S. Army spokesperson, Matthew Allen Livelsberger enlisted in the Army in January 2006 and served until March 2011. After short stints in the National Guard and Army Reserve, they said Livelsberger became an active-duty special forces soldier in December 2012. One person died and seven others were injured on Wednesday when a Tesla Cybertruck that carried fireworks and camp fuel canisters caught fire and exploded in front of the hotel.
