ICE’s gang member deportations linked to sharp drop in Denver, Aurora murder rates

By Warner Todd Huston | Breitbart New data shows that homicides in Denver and Aurora, Colorado, have experienced a significant drop in the wake of Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) efforts to take down the Tren de Aragua gang members that had been causing so much chaos in the area. But local Americans are still being killed by President Joe Biden’s migrants, including a 24-year-old woman killed in July of 2024 in Aurora by a 15-year-old reckless illegal-migrant driver. The local prosecutor just offered a sweetheart probation and community service deal to the youth migrant who is now applying for humanitarian asylum. The numbers have taken a significant downturn in the first quarter of 2025, according to data from the Major Cities Chiefs Association, KSUA-TV reported. ...

Minary: Common principles of Conservatism and why they matter in Colorado

By Russ Minary | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice The majority of Coloradans have become disengaged and disillusioned with Party politics and rhetoric, for good reasons. Both major parties, R and D, have lost their way. So, the largest bloc of voters in CO is now “Unaffiliated.” In political discussions, we often use ‘labels’ to describe ourselves and others. These labels include terms like Republican, Democrat, Moderate, Right, Left, Liberal and Conservative. Unfortunately, if you ask 10 people to define exactly what their own political label means, only one can do it with any clarity. That leads very quickly to stereotyping, misunderstandings and disagreement. Rather than listening, we talk over, rather than with, each other. For the record, I am a Constitutional Conservat...

Tristan: Trump’s first 100 days prove America’s home improvement is not about reality show illusions

By George Tristan | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice There are many home improvement reality shows on television today. Every episode, following completion of the project, culminates in the highly anticipated “reveal.”  Eyes will light up, and tears are shed as homeowners overcome with joy, marvel at the new cabinetry that beautifully adorns the kitchen, an ultra-modern range that now offers a double oven, a smart refrigerator that automatically adds dairy products to the grocery list, and the old laminate countertops that were stained and riddled with chips and knife marks, have been replaced with breathtaking pristine granite.  The homeowners beam with pride and are thrilled with the anticipation of cooking in this new culinary paradise. In an immensely larger...

How Trump sealed the border in his first 100 days

By Spencer Lindquist | Daily Wire The United States endured a never-before-seen surge in illegal immigration under President Joe Biden, watching as hordes of migrants charged border barriers and towns across the country were reshaped virtually overnight by mass migration. The issue, perhaps more than any other, propelled President Donald Trump to victory in the 2024 election. Trump pledged to end the “invasion on our southern border” throughout his campaign. And in the first 100 days of his second administration, the president has slashed border crossings to a fraction of what they were just months ago. Through a combination of policy changes, arrests and deportations, sanctions, and coordination with foreign governments, Trum...

Trump Admin reforms ‘unaccompanied alien children’ policy to prevent trafficking

By Neil Munro | Breitbart President Donald Trump’s deputies have reformed the Democrats’ 2008 “Unaccompanied Alien Children” (UAC) program to shrink migrant smuggling by labor traffickers and by illegal migrant parents. “This is another big win,” said the Immigration Accountability Project. “It would mean fewer children handed over to sex or labor traffickers.” But Democrat-affiliated pro-migration groups lament the reforms, which will require government officials to verify the legal or illegal status of people who volunteer to “sponsor” the many youth migrants who are welcomed across the border and housed in government-funded hostels. NYC’s first major immigration raids kick off under Trump crackdown, nabbing violent murderers and kidnappers

By Joe Marino, Isabel Keane, David Propper, and Kevin Sheehan | New York Post It’s on.  Heavily armed federal immigration agents swept through the Big Apple in the dark early Tuesday, nabbing accused illegal-migrant killers and traffickers in the first deportation raids under President Donald Trump’s crackdown.  New Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, donning a protective vest, joined agents from Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the series of early-morning lighting raids that began with busts in The Bronx.  Noem attended a pre-raid tactical meeting wearing a rose gold Rolex Daytona watch, and filed into an armored BearCat SWAT vehicle with HSI agents as they shuttled between locations. ...

10,000 troops headed to seal the southern border, as Trump shuts down asylum process

By Jamie McIntyre | Washington Examiner TRUMP ‘EXPECTS IMMEDIATE RESULTS’ AT THE BORDER:  Robert Salesses may only be acting secretary of defense for a short time, but he’s acting with dispatch to carry out President Donald Trump’s executive order that “suspends the physical entry of aliens engaged in an invasion of the United States through the southern border.” After a Monday meeting with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and commanders of the U.S. Northern Command, Transportation Command, and National Guard, Salesses established a task force to carry out “expedited implementation” of Trump’s orders to obtain “complete operational control of the southern border of the United States.” “DOD will begin augmenting its forces at the southwest border w...

Donald Trump Picks Tom Homan to Oversee Border Security, Deportations

By Neil Munro | Breitbart Border hawk Thomas Homan is getting a prize border security job in the new administration, incoming President Donald Trump said in a message via his Truth Social media network. Homan is an experienced border officer who served as acting chief of the vital Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency in 2017 and 2018. The agency is responsible for finding, arresting, and deporting illegal migrants. Homan strongly supported Trump during the 2024 election. However, the statement did not say Homan would be nominated to run the Department of Homeland Security or the ICE agency. If nominated and confirmed by the Senate for either job, he would have the funding, personnel, and legal authority to deport many illegal migrants. READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBART

Harris’s media blitz of border security lies and deceit

By Christopher Tremoglie, Commentary  | Washington Examiner Vice President Kamala Harris has kicked up her media appearances over the last few days, and it hasn’t gone well. From television interviews to radio programs to podcasts, the appointed Democratic nominee for president has decided to stop hiding from interviews after early voting has started in the country and with less than a month until Election Day. Yet one thing has remained consistent in her campaign: She continues to ignore, deceive, and lie about her horrific political record — especially on border security and immigration. By every available metric and analysis of Harris’s record on immigration since she has been vice president and border czar, it is abundantly clear she has a horrible record...

Female Tren de Aragua gang member called ‘The Barbie’ is busted for running brutal sex-trafficking ring

By Jennie Taer | New York Post This Barbie is a sex trafficker. A heavily tattooed female Tren de Aragua gang member is accused of running a sex-trafficking operation out of a border town hotel that the gang took over, according to a leaked Border Patrol memo obtained by The Post. At least one victim alleged that Estefania Primera — a Venezuelan illegal migrant who goes by the street name “La Barbie” — drugged her and brought men in to gang-rape her while she was unconscious, court documents said.
