The protest-to-riot pipeline: How leftist networks mobilized and funded LA unrest

Well-funded activists and a coordinated social media campaign helped spark the pro-illegal migrant protests on Friday that descended into days of rioting in Los Angeles.

Left-wing groups posted calls to action with a location to gather on Friday in unison after the arrest of a local Service Employees International Union (SEIU) leader on Friday. The subsequent uprising echoed scenes of the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020, which brought activists such as professional “legal observers” into the streets during a wave of protests that led to fires, looting, vandalism and deaths across the country as the organization’s leaders enriched themselves.

Antiquities Act rebalanced: DOJ says President Trump has authority to cancel national monument designations

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Lawyers for President Donald Trump’s administration say he has the authority to abolish national monuments meant to protect historical and archaeological sites across broad landscapes, including two in California created by his predecessor at the request of Native American tribes.

Colorado has nine national monuments, which include Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, Chimney Rock National Monument, Colorado National Monument, Browns Canyon National Monument, Camp Hale-Continental Divide National Monument, Dinosaur National Monument, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Hovenweep National Monument, and Yucca House National Monument.

A Justice Department legal opinion released Tuesday disavowed a 1938 determination that monuments created by previous presidents under the Antiquities Act can’t be revoked. The department said presidents can cancel monument designations if protections aren’t warranted.

HHS terminating $750M for Moderna’s mRNA-based bird flu vaccines amid safety concerns

President Donald Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is terminating awards totaling more than $750 million dollars that were provided to pharmaceutical manufacturer Moderna to help facilitate its production of mRNA-based bird flu vaccines.

During President Joe Biden’s final week in office, his administration awarded $590 million to Moderna to help speed up its production of mRNA-based vaccines. The $590 million award followed a separate $176 million award Biden gave to Moderna earlier last year for mRNA vaccine technology.

“Failure to Warn”: Senate report uncovers vaccine risk cover-up under Biden

(TNND) — A new report from the Senate Homeland Security Committee accuses federal health agencies of failing to adequately warn the public about potential side effects of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, particularly the risk of myocarditis in young men. The report suggests that the Biden administration downplayed these risks to avoid increasing vaccine hesitancy.

Dr. Jordan Vaughn, President of the Microvascular Research Foundation, testified on Capitol Hill Wednesday, during the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations’ first hearing about the negative side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine, criticizing the decision by public health officials in 2021 not to issue a Health Alert Network message when increased risks from the COVID-19 vaccine became apparent.

“Literally the job of the FDA. The job of CDC is to actually regulate our products and inform practitioners and people about the dangers that they might see as soon as they see them,” said Vaughn. He added, “That health alert notice would’ve told physicians to be on the lookout for this because this is happening.”

Trump’s VA slashes massive Biden-era backlog of veteran claims

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is making record-breaking progress in processing a backlog of veteran disability claims that mounted under former President Joe Biden, the agency told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The VA brought unresolved claims down from 264,717 to 198,378 — or by approximately 25% — since President Donald Trump returned to office, the VA told the DCNF. Trump’s VA has also hit the highest daily and monthly processing rates in the agency’s history while reversing a 24% increase in the backlog that occurred under Biden, the VA said in a statement.

How the Biden FBI let an ISIS acolyte slip right past them

A political agenda combined with a lack of information on the New Orleans terrorist likely culminated in Shamsud-Din Jabbar escaping the FBI’s radar, former agents told the Caller. The terrorist who allegedly plowed a truck into a crowd on New Years pledged allegiance to ISIS, reportedly possessed an ISIS flag, and even traveled to Egypt — yet no action was taken by the FBI for months.
