Netanyahu delays Gaza cease-fire vote, accusing Hamas of trying to back out in ‘last-minute crisis’

By Bradford Betz | Fox News Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday accused Hamas of backing out of a cease-fire deal to release hostages and bring a pause to more than a year of fighting in the Gaza Strip.  Netanyahu's office said Thursday his Cabinet won't meet to vote on the Gaza cease-fire deal until Hamas backs down from what it called a "last minute crisis." Netanyahu's office accused Hamas, without elaborating, of trying to go back on part of the agreement in an attempt "to extort last minute concessions."  READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX NEWS

Netanyahu testimony postponed; hostage deal, or Iran strike, imminent

By Joel B. Pollak | Breitbart Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was given special leave Monday to delay his testimony Tuesday in his trial because of special circumstances — leading to speculation about a strike on Iran, or a hostage deal with Hamas. Netanyahu has been testifying in his own defense in a trial whose central allegation is that he sought better media coverage from a hostile press. His testimony, thus far, has made the charges seem as spurious as critics suggested. However, on Monday the judge announced, after conferring privately with the lawyers for both sides, that the prime minister’s testimony Tuesday would be postponed — leading to speculation about what those circumstances might be. Biden claims Netanyahu is not doing enough to secure a deal with terrorists

By Danielle Wallace  | Fox News President Biden claimed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not doing enough to secure a hostage deal with Hamas terrorists. Biden made the remarks to reporters before heading into the Situation Room, where he and Vice President Harris are convening with a hostage deal negotiating team following the murder of 23-year-old Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin and five other hostages by Hamas on Saturday. Jonathan Dekel-Chen, the father of an Israeli-American hostage still being held by Hamas, pleaded earlier Monday for the U.S. and Israel to broker a deal "with Satan." READ MORE AT FOX NEWS

In fiery speech to Congress, Netanyahu defends war in Gaza and denounces protesters

By Ellen Knickmeyer , Farnoush Amiri and Ashraf Khalil | Associated Press, via Military.com Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Israel's war in Gaza and condemned American protesters in a scathing speech to Congress Wednesday that triggered boycotts by many top Democratic lawmakers and drew thousands to the Capitol to condemn the war and the humanitarian crisis it has created. Netanyahu vowed to press on with the war until “total victory," disappointing hopes by some that the Israeli leader's visit to the United States could bring some breakthrough in negotiations for a cease-fire and hostage-release. Speaking to applause from U.S. lawmakers, and stony silence from others, Netanyahu sought to bolster U.S. support for his country’s fight against Hamas and o...

By Danielle Wallace , Brie Stimson | Fox News Anti-Israel demonstrators descended on Washington, D.C., on Wednesday ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress.  One demonstrator, whose face was covered, was spotted by Fox News carrying what appeared to be the flag of the terrorist group Hamas. Others were heard shouting "allahu Akbar."  Fox News estimates that a few hundred protesters had gathered on Pennsylvania Avenue and 3rd Street, outside the Gallery of Art. They have a stage set up in front of the Capitol building and are currently chanting. READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX NEWS

Sloan: The unhinged morality of the international community

By Kelly Sloan | Contributing Columnist, Rocky Mountain Voice If anyone still harbored any illusions that the International Criminal Court at The Hague was a serious institution with a shred of legitimacy and a moral mandate, those illusions have surely been put to rest. ICC prosecutor Karim Khan issued arrest warrants in late May for Israeli Prime Minister Bejamin Netanyahu, and the Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, in what may be the finest demonstration of absurdity in international affairs so far this century. And given the continued omnipresence of the UN, that’s saying a lot. Granted, Khan and his team of charlatans also issued warrants for a handful of Hamas bosses, but the ludicrous equivalence only seems to lend an even greater sense of incredulity to the episode; it...

Sloan: Biden’s betrayal of Israel in war with Hamas

By Kelly Sloan | Special Contributor, The Rocky Mountain Voice Back in October, in the stunned aftermath of the worst collective massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, Presideent Joe Biden told the Israelis and the world that the U.S. would stand by them. He pledged American support, including armaments. It was a good moment, one civilized nation pledging its solidarity with another in the face of barbarity. Five months later, Biden informed the Israelis that they were essentially alone. On March 25, the UN Security Council voted on yet another morally bankrupt resolution calling for a unilateral and unconditional cease fire in the war in Gaza, and this time the United States abstained. In all previous iterations of this and other UN resolutions like it, which stop just short of...
