Trump meets with TikTok CEO at Mar-a-Lago as ban on app looms

By David Krayden | The Post Millennial TikTok CEO Shou Chew met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Monday, a person familiar with the meeting told CNN, as the company seeks the intervention of the Supreme Court in its battle with the federal government. On Dec. 6 the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit upheld the federal government’s ban on TikTok over concerns with national security. To avoid the ban of the app, Chinese company ByteDance is required to divest from the social media platform. The Trump-Chew meeting is reportedly the first time the two have talked in person since Trump won the presidency on Nov. 5. Chew has reportedly been hoping to land some time with the President-elect, who has been meeting with other big tech executives at Mat-a-Lago. ...

Gavin Newsom seeks $25 million legal fund to ‘Trump-proof’ California, fight federal policy

By David Krayden | The Post Millennial Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) wants to establish a $25 million legal fund to fight the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump in the courts – even though California is looking at a massive shortfall in funds.  The move from Newsom and the California legislature is seeking to “Trump-proof” the state for Trump’s second term in office, the Daily Mail reported. There is little love lost between Newsome and Trump, who often reminds Americans about the exodus of people leaving California because of its policies.   If Newsom’s legal fund is approved, the state Department of Justice as well as government agencies would receive more money to prepare for litigation over such liberal policy areas as abortion rights, climate c...

By David Krayden | The Post Millennial The Biden-Harris administration is preparing to send an additional $725 million in military assistance to Ukraine that will include counter-drone systems and more of the controversial anti-personnel landmines that most countries around the world have outlawed as a weapon of war. The US was not a signatory of the Ottawa Convention, which prohibits the anti-personnel landmines. The package will also reportedly include munitions for its High Mobility Artillery Rocket System. Two US officials who spoke to the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity, would not confirm whether the armaments being supplied for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System were of the ATACMS class, but Ukraine has reportedly been pushing for more of t...

Texas Gov Abbott threatens to defund hospital over medicaid citizenship law dispute

By David Krayden | The Post Millennial Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) is threatening to defund a children’s hospital after a Houston doctor released a video on TikTok telling patients to ignore a new state law requiring they reveal their citizenship when getting treatment. Abbott issued an executive order that took effect on Nov. 1 requiring hospitals accepting Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Plan payments to ask patients if they are citizens of the US on intake forms. Cardiologist at Texas Children’s Hospital Dr. Tony Pastor who is also an assistant professor at the Baylor College of Medicine released a TikTok video that said it was not necessary for patients to answer the questions and over 1 million people watched the video before it was taken down. “So my proposal ...

Combs has been locked up inside Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center since his September arrest. He is being held without bail. Combs asked Manhattan Court federal Judge Arun Subramanian to set his bail at $50 million on Wednesday, but the disgraced music mogul's request was rejected. Emmons: Dems mad they ‘got killed in alternative media’ as they seek to replicate TPUSA, Daily Wire

By Libby Emmons, Commentary | The Post Millennial Democrats are unhappy about their electoral loss and they're still trying to figure out how it happened. They have blamed voters, pollsters, Joe Biden, each other, and now they have decided that their lack of alternative media in the parallel economy model of the right is to blame. "We got killed in alternative media," said Stuart Perelmuter in a new article out from The New York Times. Perelmuter has been "contemplating" some kind of alternative Dem influencer group. "Republicans have been investing in that space for years. And on the left we have treated creators who are not in legacy media as gig workers." Perelmuter is one of many left-wing progressive influencers who complained to The Times that the Democrats are...

House Speaker bans men from women’s bathrooms on Capitol Hill

By Libby Emmons | The Post Millennial House Speaker Mike Johnson has issued a new edict saying that only women shall have permission to access women's bathrooms on Capitol Hill. The move from Johnson comes after South Carolina Rep Nancy Mace proposed a new rule that would deliver the same result Johnson has provided."All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings—such as restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms—are reserved for individuals of that biological sex," Johnson wrote. "It is important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol." "Women deserve women's only spaces," Johnson said.
