‘It’s a sellout’: Under Coach Prime, CU season tickets are sold out for consecutive seasons

CU Athletics said football season tickets sold out for the second-straight season and the 10th time in CU history. This is the second time CU has sold out of season tickets before August of an upcoming season. The first time was last year. By Rachel Gabel | The Fence Post Paul Schlagel’s family was one of the many Volga German families who came to Colorado more than a century ago and grew the crop they knew: sugar beets. Their first sugar beet crop in northern Colorado was harvested in 1911. His father purchased the farm from his mother and began farming on the current farm in 1963. Next year will be his 50th crop. The operation also includes Coors barley, corn and alfalfa on all irrigated farm ground. By BizWest LONGMONT — Longmont Starbucks workers at the 17th and Hover store have become the latest coffee shop workforce to join a union. The workers petitioned to join the Starbucks Workers United union in February and followed through with a vote this week. The workers voted 15-4 to join more than 410 stores and 10,000 Starbucks workers nationwide who have decided to unionize.
